Write a lot about a little sentence openers
A Powerpoint slide with sentence openers to use when analysing writers’ methods.
The next few slides offer an example text, suggested selection of evidence, and an example of analytical paragraph.
This structure encourages pupils to ‘write a lot about a little’ and highlights the importance of selecting appropriate evidence which can provide material for a developed analytical paragraph.
The slides can be projected and the first slide can be printed out as a classroom display.
